Pet Therapy at Grace Plaza

As a way of incorporating pet therapy into their lives, the patients and residents at Grace Plaza Nursing & Rehabilitation Center receive furry visits from North Shore Animal League. A volunteer visits the facility every month with a new puppy up for adoption. Many of the patients and residents had pets in their homes and enjoy the memories these visits bring. The staff also gets to be a part of this great experience and many have adopted these puppies into their families.

North Shore Animal League has been coming to Grace Plaza for many years and the smiles these visits bring to the patient’s face show how important the interaction with these puppies help in enhancing their lives.
